232 animals adopted at McKamey Animal Center in April

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — 232 animals have found their home and were adopted from the McKamey Animal Center (MAC) in April.

90 adult dogs were adopted.

The MAC says they began the month of April with an animal population of over 450, and now in May, they are caring for over 500 animals.

Many are currently in foster homes, and others are being transported to partner organizations in hopes of finding the right match.

They say from May 1–17, MAC will be offering free and reduced-cost adoptions thanks to bissellpets :
