Chattanooga to send-off Spanish National Football Team one last time

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Chattanooga will host a final send-off for the Spanish National Football Team as they depart the city for Los Angeles ahead of their July 2 World Cup match against
Austria, the City of Chattanooga says.

Fans, media, local businesses, and community members are encouraged to gather and give the team a memorable farewell showcasing Chattanooga’s hospitality one last time.

The send-off will take place Tuesday, June 30, 2026. The team is expected to depart around 4:45 p.m., although this time could change.

Fans can gather at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Downtown, 345 Broad Street, Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Fan viewing areas extend from the hotel along Broad Street to the Aquarium Plaza.

At approximately 4:30 p.m., representatives from the National Spanish Football Federation will present a commemorative plaque to the host city as a lasting symbol of their time in Chattanooga.
