Chattanooga Pizza Week Returns with Specialty Slices

Chattanooga TN (WDEF)-Chattanooga is serving up slices and specials all week long as Chattanooga Pizza Week returns for another year.

Restaurants across the Scenic City are joining in on the celebration, offering creative specialty pizzas and unique menu items for hungry customers to try.

News 12 stopped by Chattanooga Pizza Company where crews are preparing for what they expect to be a busy week.

The restaurant is featuring its Loaded BBQ Pizzini specialty pizza — part pizza, part sandwich, and part waffle — stuffed with smoky BBQ sauce, mozzarella, cheddar cheese, smoked beef brisket, pulled pork, and bacon.

Owner Susan Shepard says this is the restaurant’s first year participating in Pizza Week, and the team was excited to create something different for customers.

She says they had been brainstorming ideas for a while before deciding on the Loaded BBQ Pizzini and their hot honey ricotta pizzas.
