Playset Fundraiser Helps Young Cancer Fighter
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – A Virginia nonprofit is working to bring a bit of relief to a local family as their young son continues his fight against leukemia.
The Roc Solid Foundation is raising money to build a backyard playset for Sebastian, a 3-year-old who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in August 2025 and is currently receiving treatment at Erlanger Children’s Hospital.
The organization provides backyard playsets for children facing pediatric cancer.
Each playset is designed to give kids a place at home where they can get outside and play while navigating treatment.
Sebastian’s family is now working to reach a $2,000 fundraising goal to cover the cost of the playset, along with shipping and installation.
Donations can be made directly through the Roc Solid Foundation at https://www.rocsolidfoundation.org/sebastian/
