Local Child Ranking High in national Competition
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — One local child is rising in the ranks to becoming the National Toddler of the Year.
Three-year-old Kingsley Solomon has been taking part in Hasbro’s Toddler of the Year competition, currently ranking in the top three of his division.
The event takes place online from June 15th to July 16th, and all votes are given online through donations from the public.
All the money goes towards the Toys for Tots foundation, a group which ensures that children across the United States have access to critical resources they need.
No matter who wins this event, though, Solomon’s mom Jennifer VanDerveer, still thinks her son is the star of the show.
If Solomon holds steady at number three, he will be entering the final rounds of competition.
