Kell High School vs. Dalton High School

Dalton, GA (WDEF) – Dalton and Kell playing in a bit of rain.

On the first drive of the game, Kell QB John Lampley fumbles the snap.

He is able to recover it, but fumbles would develop into a storyline.

Dalton’s first drive JP Tighe runs with a QB Keeper, and it’s another fumble, and Kell’s Nicholas Woghiren picks it up, and he is going all the way to the end zone to give Kell a 7 nothing lead in the 1st.

Dalton back to work.

They give it to Drake Mccowan, and he is going to put the ball on the ground for the 3rd fumble of the game.

Dalton would jump on it luckily.

A few plays later, they give it back to Mccowan who makes up for the fumble by breaking a big run.

He is brought down just shy of the 20.

Dalton trying to punch it in on 4th down.

Tighe looking, he throws it up, it’s tipped, and it’s picked by by Dequarius Manuel.

The refs call it incomplete, but either way Kell ball, but they fumble the next play.

Dalton back on offense and off the play action Tighe goes to Kyle McGowan, and he hauls in the touchdown catch.

Dalton missed the field goal, leaving Kell with a 1 point lead.

The Dalton defense gave the Longhorn offense no room to operate all game long, living in the backfield as they gave up no offensive points to the Longhorns in their 21 to 7 victory.
