One Chattanooga Police Officer’s Answer for Local Shooting Epidemic

Branson, MO (WDEF) – Politicians, law enforcement and community leaders have been struggling to come up with a solution for inner city shooting rampage in Chattanooga over the last few years.

But Chattanooga Police Officer Sgt. Danny Jones has come up with his own plan.

This summer, he took 19 high risk young people to the Kids Across America camp in Missouri.

The Christian, athletic camp targets urban youth.

And they say that Sgt. Jones has become a role model to rebuild trust between police officers and the urban community.
