West Hall High School vs. Calhoun High School

Calhoun, GA (WDEF) – Top-ranked Calhoun got a first round home playoff game against West Hall.

The undefeated Yellow Jackets were expected to feast on the Spartans.

Rock with the black, roll with the gold, is the motto down in Calhoun.

Quarterback Kaelen Riley can rock and roll.

He scrambles and hits Dusty Baker in the end zone.

That made it 6-0 black and gold.

Spartans then find out how tough that Calhoun defense is.

Tyquan Statham buried in a nest of Yellow Jackets.

The next play, and Calhoun lets the quarterback scrambles.

He hits Hykeem Bennett who walks right in for the touchdown.

Spartans take a 7-6 lead.

Yellow Jackets back with the ball.

Riley looking to throw, and as he goes down for the sack, the ball is going to pop loose and be recovered by George Lira for the Spartans.

West Hall not intimidated by the top ranked Yellow Jackets.

Calhoun now back on offense.

Riley is going to heave one, and it’s caught by Malik Lawrence who goes into the end zone to put the Yellow Jackets back on top 13-7 going into the half.

Calhoun would go on to put the sting on West Hall 34-7.
