UPDATE: Attempted drive by arrests

UPDATE: Chattanooga Police responded to a shots fired call Friday afternoon to the 3100 block of 5th Avenue.

Residents gave police a vehicle description.

Several officers responded and stopped the suspect vehicle at East 3rd Street and Dodson Avenue.

They detained 5 people without incident.

They were questioned and arrested.

They arrested four 19-year-olds and one 17-year-old juvenile.

Two people had guns.

Police say for anyone with information about this crime to call 423-698-2525.

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga  Police say they’ve arrested 5 people during an attempted drive by in FoxZone; two people with guns.

No one was injured.
