Market Street stabbing investigation

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) –  A dispute over money leaves one man with a stab wound to the stomach and another facing charges.

Chattanooga Police say it happened at the corner of Market Street and Frazier Avenue Wednesday night.

Police found the victim, 56-year-old Danny Henderson, with the stab wound.

He was taken to a local hospital to be treated.

Police found the suspect, 46-year-old Yong Phouvanh, in the area.

He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and taken to the Hamilton County Jail.

Police say the victim and suspect were acquainted.
