Sale Creek trailer fire
Sale Creek, TN (WDEF) – A Sale Creek family escapes a trailer fire, but looses everything.
The homeowner called 9-1-1 around 3:30 a.m. Monday morning.
Sale Creek firefighters found the trailer on Daughery Ferry Road fully involved with flames.
Officials say the homeowner added wood to the wood stove for heat and went back to bed.
They woke up later to the smell of smoke, and were all able to get out safely.
They did not have smoke detectors.
The trailer is a total loss.
The Red Cross is helping the 3 adults.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
