Golden Apple: Shaina Johnson of Brown Academy

Colleagues say Shaina Johnson goes the extra mile. The Brown Academy First grade teacher wants her students to know more than just what’s in the book. So she organizes field trips and teaches lessons on things like recycling. That’s why she’s this week’s Golden Apple Award winner.
