New Year’s Eve Shooting in Chattanooga
Chattanooga police respond to a man shot on New Year’s Eve.
Police were called to the 2700 block 6th Ave around 10:25 Thursday night.
When they arrived, they located the alleged shooter, 22 year old Antouan Knox.
Police were told that the victim left the scene in a black Chevy Malibu.
Officers of East Ridge Police Department located the black Chevy Malibu near the 3100 block Ringgold Rd.
They determined it had been involved in a single vehicle accident at that location.
There, police located the victim, 23 year old Arterius Bond.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a non life threatening gunshot wound to the right side of his body.
