Industrial accident at Baylor injuries one contract worker

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga Fire officials say a contract worker was injured Tuesday afternoon when a concrete pump apparatus malfunctioned.

The concrete workers were doing building maintenance at the Baylor Tennis Center.

Officials say the worker was taken to a local hospital for treatment for a traumatic face injury.

The worker’s condition is not known at this time.
