Service Dog Organization Director Charged With Theft

NASHVILLE (WDEF) – The TBI announces the indictment of the leader of a service dog organization.

Nicole Hulbig was director of a nonprofit organization in Montgomery County called RRR Service Dogs in Clarkesville, Tennessee.

Investigators say the group raised more than $92,000 between January 2013 to April 2014.

But they say Hulbig used more than $10,000 of that on personal items and services that had nothing to do with animal rescue and service dog placement.

A Montgomery County Grand Jury has indicted her with one count of theft over $10,000.
