Confirmed Person Shot on E. 23rd St.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Officers with the Chattanooga Police Department were called to respond to a person shot in the ​2400 block of ​E. 23rd Street.

​One victim was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital.

The wounds are non-life threatening.

The victim is an adult male and told police that he was shot in a vehicle.

His name will not be released until his family is notified.
