Food City launches program to support your local school
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Food City announced a way to give back to Tennessee Valley schools.
The grocery store chain will now offer its School Bucks program to all of its stores in the Chattanooga and north Georgia area.
For every 10 dollars a customer spends in Food City or Legacy brands, his or her school will receive one point toward a School Buck reward.
Food City executives say this is an easy way to help impact a child’s life.
Food City Executive VP of Operations explains “Once you determine the school that you want your points to go to, when you purchase our Food City brand and Legacy brands you automatically accumulate those points with every ten dollars that you spend.”
District Manager Rodney Dillard adds “Once you determine the school that you want your points to go to, when you purchase our Food City brand and Legacy brands you automatically accumulate those points with every ten dollars that you spend.”
You can shop to earn School bucks through May 27th.
At that time the points will be totaled.
And then the schools get rewarded.
