Six year old hit by car at her bus stop in Walker County

LaFayette, Georgia (WDEF) – The Walker County school system says one of their students was hit by a car while waiting for the bus this morning.

It happened near Wilson Road, outside of Rossville around 6:45 AM.

School officials say the child suffered a broken leg and was taken to the hospital.

The bus driver and the students on the bus were not involved.

Walker County Sheriff’s officers are investigating the case.
