Mocs Softball Falls Twice on Opening Day

(gomocs.com) CHATTANOOGA — The Chattanooga Mocs softball team suffered a two-game sweep, falling 8-0 to Western Kentucky in game one before a late rally attempt felt short in a 7-5 loss  to Indiana State in the nightcap on Friday inside Jim Frost Stadium as part of the Chattanooga Challenge.

Chattanooga opens the season 0-2 for just the second time since 2014. WKU improved to 2-0 on the year while Indiana State moved to 1-1.

Chattanooga takes on Indiana State again tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET before closing out the day with Kennesaw State (1-4) at 5:30 p.m. ET in the Chattanooga Challenge.
