Broad Street Stabbing, Victim Deceased

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Earlier this morning, Chattanooga Police responded to a person who had been stabbed on the 3200 block of Broad Street.

Officers located the victim, Lymorris Martin, 59, who had received multiple stab wounds to his body. Martin succumbed to his injuries prior to police arrival.

Authorities were able to detain a suspect, Rachel Diane Green, 56, who was still at the scene. The suspect was transported to another location for questioning.

Investigators believe that the incident escalated from a domestic disorder. After processing evidence and witness testimony, Green was placed under arrest and charged with Criminal Homicide.
