Police investigating shooting on East 25th Street Place

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Police responded to a call of a person shot in the 1900 block of East 25th Street Place shortly after 1 pm Sunday afternoon.

Police say that they arrived on scene to find 22 year old Quadarius Bowling suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Officials say he was taken to a local hospital.

According to police, investigators were told the Bowling and the suspect had a physical altercation in the parking lot of a local business earlier.

Police say the suspect returned later and shot Bowling as he was walking on East 25th Street Place.

Chattanooga Police have no suspect information at this time; members of the Violent Crime Bureau are following all leads.
