Police arrest suspect for fatal shooting in SkyZoo parking lot

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have arrested a suspect for the shooting in the SkyZoo parking lot on Lee Highway.

It happened after 2 AM on Saturday.

Police arrived to find that two men had been shot.

32 year old Eric Grant later died from his injuries.

Witnesses said that it began as a verbal argument between several people, when a suspect pulled a gun and began shooting.

Police have now charged 29 year old Kristijian Mrkonjic for the shooting.

He faces charges of First Degree Murder and Attempted First Degree Murder.
