Fatal motorcycle crash on Cummings Highway

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Chattanooga police are investigating a fatal crash that happened this afternoon on Cummings Highway.

Police say that a Harley Davidson was headed south when for unknown reasons, he accelerated, left the roadway and hit a guard rail.

Police say that the 54-year-old driver died on the scene.

They are still investigating the crash.
