Police open fire in Nashville domestic confrontation, 3 injured
Antioch, Tenn. (WDEF) – Domestic confrontation leads to the shooting of a man, woman and child in Antioch, Tennessee Tuesday morning.
But police are not sure yet whether officers of the man shot the other two.
It started around 5AM when the man, who had been served a protection order, returned home.
Witnesses say he forced his way inside.
Police heard gunfire when they arrived on the scene.
A spokesman says they saw the man threatened the woman and two children with a gun.
When he pointed it at them, at least two officers opened fire on him.
The suspect was hit and is in critical condition.
At this point, police don’t know if he fired the shots that hit a ten year old girl and the woman, or if they were hit by the officer’s firing.
Both were hit in the pelvis.
A 15 year old ran from the house, unharmed.
