Tears and Testimony at Jennings Murder trial

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – In day two of the Rodney Jennings murder trial, his ex-girlfriend testifies about the moment, Raphael White was shot by Jennings.

Jennings is accused of murdering a Chattanooga man back in 2014 in a case that landed him on the Ten Most Wanted list in Tennessee.

Chesley Thompson told the court about a violent incident in which Jennings assaulted her.

A tearful Tiera Tony gave emotional testimony of what happened before and after White was shot.

The judge had to allow a brief recess so that the witness could collect herself.
