BREAKING: Jury has begun deliberations in Rodney Jennings murder trial

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – BREAKING NEWS in the Rodney Jennings murder trial
The jury has begun deliberations.

Rodney Jennings testified in his own defense on Thursday.

Jennings was claiming self-defense because he said he and Raphael White were opposing gang members who had a beef with each other.

That was long before the final incident back in 2012 that left White dead.

Jennings said White pulled a gun on him first. He said in court Thursday, “When he went to reach for that firearm, I did a quick sidestep to the left and I pulled out my firearm; as I’m doing this, it was all in one motion, I raised my hand and squeezed. And that was it.”
