Hamilton Co. Pursuit Ends In Deadly Crash

HAMILTON CO., Tenn (WDEF) – A high-speed pursuit ended in a deadly crash in Hamilton County Sunday night.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office received a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) from dispatch for a possible drunk driver.

At approximately 10:45 p.m., HCSO Deputies located the car and tried to stop it. The driver refused to stop and a pursuit ensued.

After a short chase, the driver lost control and crashed at Osage Road and Dayton Pike in Soddy Daisy.

The driver succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on scene by HCEMS.

HCSO requested Tennessee Highway Patrol to investigate the crash.
