Police charge suspects in Beech Street shooting

Investigators say man was shot during a robbery attempt

Police have taken the second suspect, Forest Walker, into custody.

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have arrested one of their suspects in a shooting Friday in East Chattanooga.

A 30 year old man was shot in what investigators believe was a robbery on South Beech Street, off of Main, and near Eastside Elementary.

The wound was non-life threatening.

They have arrested a 17 year old suspect, charging him with Especially Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Robbery.

But they are still looking for a second, adult suspect in the shooting.

Police have identified him as 22 year old Forest Walker on the robbery charges and a gun charge.
