Grundy Co Baseball Team Hosts a Game to Benefit the Dream of School Librarian

Coalmont, TN-(WDEF) Special high school baseball game Thursday at Grundy County between the Yellow Jackets and Marion County.
There was plenty of pink on the field and uniforms for Cancer Awareness.
Sadly, the Grundy County team has seen the effects of the deadly disease.
Long-time school librarian Audrey Nunley died of cancer last month.
All Grundy players sported her name Audrey on their jerseys.
Before she passed away, Nunley dreamed of building a ball field for special needs kid called ‘Miracle on the Mountain’.
Nunley’s son has cerebral palsey.
Proceeds from Thursday’s game went to ‘Miracle on the Mountain’.
Said Nunley’s husband Keith,”Her legacy is going to live on through this park. She’s going to continue to touch many, many lives. Just like the Marion County and Grundy County players and all the fans here, they’re doing all this for her, the park, and the thing she started.”
The school also had a softball game on Thursday to raise funds for the ‘Miracle on the Mountain’ campaign.
