Update: HCSO Responds to Reported Accidental Shooting

OOLTEWAH, Tenn. (WDEF) – One person is recovering tonight after accidentally shooting themselves in the leg.

It happened around 6:00 p.m. tonight in the 8500 block of Steam Side Drive in Ooltewah.

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputies and medical personnel responded to that location on a report of an accidental shooting.

The person was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
