CFC Coach Bill Elliott Hopes Offense Mimics Golden State’s 3-Point Shooting Attack

Chattanooga-(WDEF) The CFC has one of the best defenses in the NPSL, allowing only three goals in seven league games.
And now the team’s offense may be coming around as well.
In the completion of their suspended match with Birmingham on Tuesday, Chattanooga erupted for four goals, giving them eleven on the season.
Head coach Bill Elliott felt it was only a matter time before the CFC exploded with multiple goals in one game.
Said Elliott:”It’s kind of like Golden State and their 3-point shooting. If they miss a few, they don’t stop shooting them. They keep going, and as soon as they start to fall, the other team better look out. I kind of feel that’s the same case here. We’re not going to stop putting those guys in front of the goal. Sooner or later they score one. Confidence grows. You hope you go on to big things from there.”
The CFC host Carolina United on Saturday at 7:30pm at Finley Stadium.
