Cornerstone Medical Center has ribbon cutting

Today, Cornerstone Medical Center had its official ribbon cutting and even though the hospital has been there for sometime, today is a new beginning for a new hospital…..

“While the hospital has been here for many years, we are a brand new hospital, and we are very excited to embark on this journey.”

Today was the official ribbon cutting of the new Cornerstone Medical Center from the outside many things look the same except for the new sign, but there have been a lot of changes.

“From the outside looking in, this is all that really changed, but on the inside, we have been rewriting all of our processes, policies. We have been making a lot of changes without staffing. We have been. We have opened an inpatient floor with 12 beds soon to be 16.”

Many Georgia officials were on hand for today’s ribbon cutting just showing how much this medical center means to the community. Senator Jeff Mullis even shared a story of his experiences with Hutcheson Medical Center and his hopes for Cornerstone….

“I was born here in 19 uh in 19 uh I was born here a long time ago, and I had 2 children born here, and my dad passed away here and always had the top care because he had great people working here.”
