County Clerk says “In God We Trust” plates available

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Hamilton County Clerk Bill Knowles says the clerk’s office has received a supply of the new optional standard “In God We Trust” vehicle registration plates.

The county clerks says the plates are ready to be issued upon request.

According to a release from the County Clerk office, the new plates requires a one-time $2.00 fee to swap an existing valid plate plus the standard $2.50 registration fee.

The new “In God We Trust” plate does not require the higher fees of other specialty plates.
