3rd shooting in 24 hours this morning near Howard & I 24

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A 45 year old woman is the latest shooting victim in Chattanooga.

Police got the call around 5:30 this morning.

Marion Heard was shot twice in the 2400 block of Long Street near the Market Street entrance ramp to I 24.

Police describe the wounds as non-life-threatening.

She did not provide any suspect information to officers.

Earlier this morning around 2:00 AM, a teenager was shot on Pinewood Avenue.

And on Monday evening around 7PM, a 19 year old was shot on 4th Avenue.
