Cleveland police make arrest after fight with shots fired

CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – A midnight call of shots fired lead to an arrest of a Cleveland man.

Police responded to 675 14th street NW after reports of shots being fired.

They found a large gathering of people that turned into a fight.

While officers were trying to interview uncooperative witnesses, they discovered one of them had an outstanding warrant.

They say when they found an unloaded handgun on him, which they seized.

EMS crews treated several people at the scene for minor injuries, but none were caused by gunfire.

Cleveland Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
