DA Steve Bebb Retiring Early

     Controversial District Attorney Steve Bebb is stepping down before the end of his term later this summer.
     The 73-year-old will leave office at the end of June for health reasons.
     He prosecutes cases in Bradley, McMinn, And Polk counties.
     He was brought up on ethics complaints last year for how he ran his office.. But the complaint was eventually dropped.
     Bebb already announced he would not run for re-election this year.
     So the state will have to appoint an interim D-A to fill out the final two months of the term.
