Bradley County Unity Walk
CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) – In the wake of recent violence across the nation, 150 people took to the streets of Bradley County this afternoon.
They took part in a Unity Walk.
The group started off at Johnston Park, and traveled down Ocoee Street, and ended up at the Bradley County Courthouse.
The walk helped commemorate the lives of the 5 Dallas Officers who died last week.
It also symbolized the bond between the Bradley County Sheriff Office and the community, according to Sheriff Eric Watson.
“This is a very positing thing that’s going on for our community. It’s bringing people together. We’ve had hundreds of people to comment since last night, when this started.”
After the walk, participants placed flowers at a special Memorial at the Bradley County Courthouse.
