Broad Street will be blocked downtown for the next 3 months beginning Monday

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Another construction project will force detours around the TVA building downtown for months to come.

Beginning Monday, the city will block Broad Street under the TVA office complex so the agency can conduct building maintenance.

The block will be closed until October 15th.

The south end of Broad Street at the foot of Lookout Mountain has been closed by a sewer project for a month.

That is scheduled to last through the end of August.
