Taylor along with the TBI were involved in an investigation that started due to a tip off back in June of 2013.

Redden is now facing 3 counts of theft, two counts of felony theft, one count of misdemeanor theft and seven counts of official misconduct.

Residents say they are relieved that Redden is now behind bars.

Kaylor added that she is still concerned for the town’s future.

"I worry about what they will put in their next the police chief, I pray for him, I hope the best for him, he was I considered a friend until this happened"

Other residents say Tuesday marked a new era for their community.
