Gas siphoning arrest in Catoosa County

RINGGOLD, Georgia (WDEF) – A couple of weeks ago, we told you about the search for a suspect accused of siphoning off gas from Catoosa County vehicles.

Investigators had a photo of their suspect, but not an identity.

They believed he was sucking out dozens of gallons of gas from County buses when they were parked for the night.

Now we have more details on the arrest.

Deputies found 41 year old Terry Davis at a convenience store on Sunday night.

They recognized him from the photo, even though he had shaved off his beard to change his appearance.

He was also wanted on a vehicle theft charge.
