Can a committee work out public’s problems with Medal of Honor Heritage Center plan?
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A group has been working to bring the dream of a Medal of Honor museum honoring Charles Coolidge to the park that bears his name.
But those plans ran into opposition from residents who are leery of changes to Coolidge Park.
So now the City Council is going to a special committee of local military, business and legal figures to resolve the differences.
City councilman Chip Henderson appeared on News 12 This Morning to talk about what he hopes the committee can accomplish.
He says they are still waiting on some committee invitations to be accepted.
You can read more about the committee in our story from Tuesday.
