Police: Teacher recorded Elementary girls changing in school closet

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – A teacher has been arrested after police say he made more than 50 videos of girls changing clothes inside a closet at a Nashville elementary school.

Metro Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron tells local media that 30-year-old Jarrett Jones, an assistant band director at Antioch High School, was arrested Monday on charges of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of minors and sexual exploitation of minors.

Aaron says Jones secretly recorded elementary-age school girls as they changed clothes at Napier Elementary School, where he taught from 2011-2015. He says Jones told girls participating in school plays or choir performances to change in the music room’s closet, where he placed a hidden video recording device.

Police say they have found more than 50 videos of at least 40 different girls.

It’s unclear if Jones has an attorney.
