Dayton Couple in Fatal Car Accident
A well known elderly Rhea County couple fell victim to a car accident Wednesday morning around 10:00.
90-year-old Gill Kyle was dead on arrival and his wife Anna was rushed to a Chattanooga hospital.
Police say their car hit an semi truck in a intersection on Highway 27 in front of Wal Mart.
Residents remember the the couple for their involvement setting up Gospel Music Night at McDonald’s every Thursday.
"Oh I was heartbroken, heart was broken. I’ve had about 20 calls today asking me if I know about it," said fellow singer Ralph Price
The driver of the semi truck was not injured and the crash is still under investigation.
As of right now, charges have not been filed.
