Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Celebrating 25 Years
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- The Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts is celebrating 25 years of learning.
In just a few minutes the school will be starting off the celebration by hosting a family event.
Special guests will recall C-S-L-A moments of the past and the work of current students will be on display.
Parents will also have the opportunity to give to the
P-T-A Donation Drive that funds the school’s Math and Reading Interventionists.
The principal of CSLA, Krystal Scarbrough said, “We teach a little bit differently, we focus on a lot on discourse and justifying answers and higher level thinking. We push our children to through Socratic seminar and it’s a very exciting place to explore and learn and enjoy education.”
This Thursday, a special event will be held at the school just for students and staff.
It’s a look back at what was going on in 1991 when the school first opened its doors.
