TDFN12: Boyd Buchanan at Silverdale

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) –  Our Friday night tailgate took us to Silverdale Academy where the Seahawks were looking to make school history.

Silverdale was searching for their first ever win over the Bucs, and the Seahawks needed the victory to have a shot at making the playoffs.

This was a defensive battle. Boyd led 10 – 0 a the half.

Boyd Bucs with the ball, 3rd Quarter. But, the Silverdale Seahawks Sam Moses gets in the backfield and gets the tackle for the loss.

Bucs return the favor, Alex Gonzalez wants to throw but, he’s taken down by Asa Owens.

Later in the Quarter, Jeremy Borders tries to get on track for Boyd.  He can’t stay in bounds along the sidelines.

4th Quarter, still a 10 – 0 game. Gonzalez with a late shuffle pass to Alex Burks, 15 yards and the 1st Down.

But the Seahawks drive stalls late in the game, Borders hits through the line and he takes it to the house 31 yards.

But a penalty flag wipes out the score. Boyd wins 10 – 6
