Walker County looks for man who failed to appear in court

LAFAYETTE, Georgia (WDEF) – The Walker County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who failed to appear in court.

Investigators say Billy Joe Franklin was involved in a domestic related incident on December 1, 2014.

He was charged with aggravated assault and kidnapping.

After failing to show up in court, a bench warrant was issued for Franklin.
