Hamilton County schools investigate use of “racial slurs” at work

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – News 12 has learned that the Hamilton county Department of Education has launched an investigation into the use of “racial slurs” at the workplace.

Communications Coordinator Amy Katcher says the complaint is not against a teacher or anyone at Central office.

More than 3 dozen employees will be interviewed, according to officials.
