Walker Valley band, choir to participate in London’s New Year’s Eve Parade

BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – The great grandson of Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill is traveling to Cleveland, Tennessee in order to deliver a very special invitation to some talented young students.

Duncan Sandys arrived this morning at Walker Valley High School to formally invite the band to Britain.

The Walker Valley High School Band and Choir will be participating in London’s New Year’s Day Parade & Festival, not this December but for the year 2018/2019.

The parade will host more than 8,000 performers from all over the globe to entertain a street audience of around 500,000 – and a global TV audience of tens of millions.
