Dalton man arrested for stealing from a church

Dalton, Georgia (WDEF) – A Dalton man is behind bars, accused of stealing from a North Georgia church.

Chatsworth police have arrested Stephen Helle.

Investigators say he stole gas from Homeland Baptist Church.

They’re charging him with second degree burglary, criminal trespassing, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
