Woman falls to her death on Fiery Gizzard Trail near Tracy City

TRACY CITY, Tenn. (WDEF) A Nashville woman fell to her death on Tuesday on the Fiery Gizzard Trail in Grundy County.

Searchers found the body of the 64 year old woman below a bluff.

They believe she may have been looking over the edge of the trail when she lost her balance and fell.

The Coalmont High angle Rescue team recovered the body.

It has been sent to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy, but investigators do not suspect foul play.
